This manual is the primary service guide for Bobcat excavator technicians. It supplements the Operation & Maintenance Manual by bringing together all workshop-level information you will need— from Safety Instructions and Fire-Prevention measures to serial-number verification—so every task can be carried out to factory standards.
Inside, you will find step-by-step diagnostics, disassembly, testing and assembly procedures for every major system: hydraulics, undercarriage, upper- and swing structures, engine, electrical, HVAC, and control components. Use the Service Schedule and lubrication charts to plan preventive maintenance, and consult the Specifications, Torque, and Hydraulic-Fluid tables whenever exact tolerances or capacities are required.
After any repair, perform the full post-service inspection outlined at the start of Maintenance Safety checking hydraulic and fuel lines, filters, pivot pins, electrical connections, fasteners, and all safety devices—before returning the excavator to service.
